RECORDING.

The recording process facilitates the pristine capture of vocals, instruments and other textures via analogue multitracking. Through the process of live tracking and overdubbing with exceptional microphones and analogue gear, the recording stage begins to shape the overall tonality and feel of the track, injecting vibe and character into every project.

MIXING.

MASTERING.

The mastering process ensures finished mixes are release-ready, and is a crucial step for any audio projects planned for distribution. This process adds a final tonal, dynamic and harmonic stamp on records, ensuring they are sonically appropriate for the intended genre and target market. Mastering also ensures records are at the appropriate loudness levels and meet formatting conventions, as set by various streaming platforms and physical release methods. Most importantly, mastering ensures your audio holds up to its competition, allowing listeners to easily consume and judge its content.

PRODUCTION.

The mixing process transforms multi-track recordings into finished work, ready for mastering. I mix with a hybrid approach, using digital software and analogue hardware to further enhance recordings through tonal and dynamic shaping and time-based depth effects. The mixing stage also provides room for further creative enhancement, through automation, distortion, reamplification and much more, taking recordings to the next level and creating an immersive and exciting experience for the listener.

Production includes creative input and musical direction, and applies alongside recording and mixing services. Having an extra creative perspective during sessions takes tracks to the next level, through performative, structural and sonic guidance, and gives your music the best chance of reaching its full potential in and out-with the studio.
